Carey Monthly Newsletter notice

Each year, we observe shifts in home project trends, with specific projects gaining popularity due to evolving homeowner needs and design preferences. Over the past year and continuing into this year, we have seen a significant rise in master suite remodels and additions. Homeowners are prioritizing comfort, functionality, and luxury in their primary living spaces, opting for thoughtfully designed master suites that enhance both their daily routines and overall home value. This trend reflects a growing desire for personalized retreats that offer spa-like amenities, expanded storage, and seamless integration with the rest of the home.

At Carey Design Build, we love transforming master suites and ensuites into spaces that feel like a true retreat. These projects are always rewarding because they allow us to create something deeply personal for our clients—whether it’s a spa-like bathroom, a walk-in closet with custom storage, or a beautifully designed bedroom that feels like a getaway at the end of the day. Seeing how these updates enhance both comfort and functionality makes the work even more fulfilling, and we take pride in delivering spaces that our clients truly love coming home to.

Project Highlight

With master suite projects on the rise, we recently completed a home addition that not only provided the homeowners with a beautiful ensuite but also created additional space for the full family. This ensuite features a stunning palette of blue hues, complemented by bold wall colors and playful shower tile. At just under 1,200 square feet, this addition seamlessly enhances the home’s functionality while elevating our clients’ lifestyles.

This master suite addition offers a breathtaking view of the Menominee River, creating a serene retreat for the homeowners. The space includes a spacious walk-in closet, a large tiled shower, a luxurious free-standing soaking tub, and a his-and-hers vanity, each paired with linen closets for added storage and convenience.

The second half of this addition was designed as a versatile space for the homeowners, offering endless possibilities to suit their lifestyle. They chose to transform it into a full home gym, complete with state-of-the-art equipment, ample natural light, and a layout that supports both high-intensity workouts and mindful recovery.

Women in Construction Week

The first week of March was “Women in Construction Week.” It was a great reminder to recognize the hardworking women in our company. Every employee plays a vital role in our team, and we could not grow into something special without each team member.
